Perhaps you are wondering what reasons I could possibly have to post this video on our blog. Well I’m going to tell you.
You’ve probably noticed that an awful lot of the recent blog posts have been talking about using Aha with an integrated car stereo (like the Pioneer AVIC models), but we also know that not everyone is going to have the option to upgrade stereos just to use Aha. That’s why I’m dusting off a blog post from early last year that provides the down low scoop on how to hook up to just about any current stereo system.
You all remember those special picture days from your childhood. All dressed up in the clothes you don’t usually wear. Showing up with a check and an order form that inexplicably calls for hundreds of wallet sized copies of your mugshot. Such good times.
One of the stations that seems to be getting an awful lot of attention these days is the Facebook station. If you aren’t familiar with it, users who complete Facebook Connect can hear a text to speech conversion of status updates from your Facebook Newsfeed.
For this update we are adding podcasts from a few of my favorite sports personalities, a super station of all CNET shows, a user request for some economics insights.
I’ve told you all about this snazzy new office we have, but believe it or not we still have some seats to fill. We are looking for people in a lot of areas, and even if you don’t see a listing that fits, feel free to send your resume along.
I generally prefer to avoid tooting our own horn, so it’s especially satisfying when someone goes out of their way to toot it for us. That was the case this week with CarAudioMag.com’s review of the Pioneer AVIC-X930BT head unit (also known as one of the first head units to feature Aha Radio integration).
A handful of users have been experiencing unexpected crashes with our latest version of Aha Radio for iPhone (1.5.4). The reports have been very rare, but we’ve been working frantically to nail down the cause of the crash (which happens during launch, when the location message appears).
As we reported recently, the new Aha Radio / Harman office is really coming along. Lots of great new desks and furniture, a special “conference room” table, and even a phone booth.
Another station update so soon? Yes, indeed. Tech journalist, and general tech guru, Larry Magid came by the office this week to talk with Robert about Aha Radio and the current Pioneer head unit integration. His report ran in yesterday’s CBS: Tech Talk podcast, and can now be heard in the Aha Radio app.
